A Big Grunty Thirst

Description

And now, the second part to my costume-posting craze.

First off: The Grunt creature belongs to the Bungie company as they did make and own the Halo game series.

Now my part: For you Halo fans, this should be easily recognized. That's right, it's cannon fodder. The Grunt creatures in Halo are the little squealy guys who easily fall to a couple bullets in the... anything, really. I love them. They make funny noises when they do anything. Plus the idea of making a costume of one was grand. Even better, I had to make it proportional to me. Mind you, the Grunts are normally like... 4 feet tall. I'm about 5'7, so I had to up the scale of everything for my size. Basically, it was pretty huge. Bulky, mostly, as much of the big parts were hollow. This construction consisted of a decent amount of cardboard and an even decenter (It's a word in my book) amount of duct tape! Again, no paints, no sewing, no glue, etc. Just cardboard and duct tape.

The Grunt debuted at The Reactor 2005. It's too big for ACen, and I dont do any other conventions. Too lazy to drive far. =D

If you like this costume, look at my other ones (They're more well known.) If you want more of this or of my other ones, let me know through AIM or a message on here. (AIM is much more efficient =O )

if you use masking tape as a base, rather than duct tape, it can be painted clear coated over, then painted, removing all lines of you ever using tape in the first place
